Thanks to this forum,i've solved many problems about my car.I's a 1,4 BBY ,brilliant black with azyek yellow nappa leather and Bose .Greetings from Tuscany,Italy.Me and my wife are proud to tell you that our hearts are in Dreischor Zeeland.

Wow @andrea, what a beauty! I think the 1.4 AUA/BBY is very rare in Italy, I normally see only diesel on the road.

What makes Dreischor your favorite place to be?

I've been in Netherlands for many reason since 25 years ago,and for a short period i lived in Dreischor. In 2023 me and mÿ actual wife viseted Dreischor and she felt in love with the fairy atmosphere of that village.Every year we spent our holidays in Zeeland twice in a year,and we visit Dreischor because it give to us an extraordinary peace of mimd

It"s true Hans,when A2 was launched on the market here in Italy 90% were TDI,generally imported from Germany.Gasolina were rare,and now lots of them was scrapped.Mine is 150000 km,one owner only before me,it's in my VW's collection,it has historical ital8an documents and recently i've obtained Audi 's factory certification.

That's good to hear, Zeeland is beautiful indeed and has many historic places. We share the same feeling with many places in Italy which we try to visit almost every year. Too bad some of them have so many tourists. You'd probably only find some (or maybe none) German folks in Dreischor and hardly Italians ;-)

What more do you have in your carcollection? Ate there any specialists around who can solve the specific issues with the A2? Not many car garages like the sometimes very annoying and weird problems with the A2. Here in the Netherlands we have the one and only A2 Dokter. Many people from Europe use his skills and knowledge to get their A2 fixed.

Zeeland for us is also Renesse,Zierikzee,Burgh-Haamstede,Bruinisse,Brouwershaven,we love mosselen,appeltaart and all the nature there,and the way you respect it.It'hard to own an A2 here,you can't find spare parts in scrapyard,there 'no doctors,auto repairs hate the A2,only few old ww'mechanic had the know-how to mantain the car,but they are very expensive.Every trouble is an adventure.Your head must be very hard if you want to have a perfect A2.
In my collection there are a 2001 yellow New Beetle, a 99 Golf cabrio mk 3.5 black and a superb Passat sedan 5.5 2.8 V6 4MOTION Tiptronic .I'm proud to tell that they are all in perfect condition
